to make sure that it works go to engine.
Disconnect first coil connection (this one which is closer to radiator)
Take single wire from signal cable from rev counter and put inside to pin "-", (you should see two signs on coil "+" and "-") then put back coil connector but make sure that this single wire is still connected and on right place (don't push too much...)
then connect right cable from tacho to any 12V+ (could be battery) and ground (make sure that it is right one - I've got two red and black cable, one is for light and one for counter...)
If techo works it should be about 400-500rpm instead of 800-1000rpm as is only single signal...
