I have a 2013 TA 4x4. Really love the little car but having some bad luck with it currently.
The clutch needed replacing which I have had done (and dual mass fly) and clutch is now all good but the garage removed the propshaft because the central bearing was shot. So it’s now 2wd temporarily but there seems to be something else not quite right with it and I’m not sure what. It’s not easy to drive, you need to be skilled in throttle control and change gear at just the right time other wise it jerks around and rattles.

When it goes back in for a propshaft replacement, is there something else I should be getting checked? I was wondering if engine mounts might cause something like this?

how do you know it’s something “else” +not the new replacement clutch/DMF?
when did you notice the problem? (driving the car home after the work was done, or weeks later?)
does your invoice itemise the work done?
do they have expertise in this car?
is the ‘shop’ that did the work reputable?
do they guarantee their work?

Assuming the work was done recently, the car should be returned as “unsatisfactory work done” for their inspection and report back to you.
On no account should you wait until it “goes back in for a propshaft replacement”
 
The problems pre-date the clutch repair. I think the clutch and DMF repair are sound and it was done by a very reputable fiat and Alfa specialist. Just feel like there is more going on with this car that you probably only appreciate if you drive it.
 
This is the sort of age and mileage when we often see engine running issues due to a worn uniair module.

Unfortunately this fault is neither easy to definitively diagnose, nor cheap to repair; unless you're capable of replacing it yourself, you'll need to budget at least £2000. You need to be as certain as you can that this is the cause before changing it.

There's plenty of information, including case studies and a repair guide, on this forum.
 
Not changing gear properly really sounds likethe clutch so take it back and ask the people who did it. Having to match engine speeds carefully sounds like the clutch is not doing its thing. It may be something minor and related to the clutch replacement. If they are any good they will either sort it out or advise you.

Knowing my luck, I’m sure this will on the cards as well
