Thats the kit but it does not include a subwoofer. Two main speakers, two tweeters, two crossover units and fittings.I would have posted a picture of the box but have just used it to post something out that I sold on ebay:D

Bugger:(
Just started to fit the oil gauge adaptor to the the filter housing to find that I have bought the wrong sized thread adaptor:mad: Going to have to get back in touch with the guy in Hong Kong to see if he will sell me just the part I need rather than the whole kit. So, for your information should you feel the need to buy the same kit, you need the M20-P1.5 thread type adaptor:eek:

Good work SS just took ages to look from the start, If you still want to figure out placing the pics Load them as normal then look for the little paper clip on the toolbar above your text box. You can then either insert all of the pics or place the curor where you want them, click on the paperclip and select the pic you want moved. Hope this explains what you wanted.

Also please excuse the panda pics as i couldn't be bothered attaching the hard drive for the barchetta pics

I'll remove this to post to prevent spoiling the thread when you have got the jist.

Thanks Alan and I am quite happy for you to leave it here so I can refer to it later:)
Also just been told that I should be able to buy a new fitment for my oil filter adaptor just down the road tomorrow so maybe I will be able to finish it sooner than I thought:)

Well, unfortunately I was unable to buy the fitment I required so I have purchased the entire kit again from Hong Kong this time with the right thread adaptor:eek: So the other one will be appearing on ebay sometime near you soon:)

On another subject...........Now that I have fitted new speakers and amp etc. I am not happy with the bass output:( This coming from the guy that wasnt bothered about the sopund system in his B because he would rather drive with the top down listening to the exhaust sound(y)
So, I am considering placing two decent bass speakers in the metal bulkhead behind the seats. There is enough room behind the bulkhead for them but it will mean repositioning the amp and crossovers into the boot. Suggestions/ideas anybody??

There is a Fiat bassbox on ebay.de at the moment but I mailed the guy to see if he would ship outside Germany but no response plus the fact that it is at £117 and rising AND the fact that I would have to remove the rollbars has put me off it:(

Corrugation?? No problem..........I have the tools:D

You may find it a bit of a problem with the airbag wiring??

Hi, have been thinking the same thing SS. You can fab a replacment panel and fit two subs as long as you clear the tank. The amp in the boot is not a problem if you are taking the tank panel off anyway. I think I will only fit one sub in my tank panel.

Doc, I seem to remember there being quite a bit of room behind the panel when I had it off:eek: on the red one. Yes, come to think about it, it would make sense to have just the one speaker slap bang in the middle between the seats. Off to ebay now to have a look!!

Just changed my mind after a look on ebay:D I think I will opt for one of those slimline underseat/behind seat in my case subwoofer units:) At least to see if I am happy with that before cutting the bulkhead:eek:

Well, I have just bought the Blaupunkt THB 200A subwoofer for £97:) I intend to put this behind the drivers seat on the floor and hopefully it will make a difference otherwise it will be a waste of £97:eek:
Should be here in a few days:)

By the way, where is everyone?? it has gone very quiet recently on this forum:mad:

Good man, let me know how you get on fitting it - ICE uplift and lowering springs were on the list for this month but I guess that's on hold for a bit now........

I have also noticed that its gone a bit quiet on here, 'comon you lot I am going to have loads of time on my hands (potentially) between now and the end of October so please entertain me!!! (y)

Finally!!
Got the oil pressure and temperature gauges up and working:D
I can report that, with todays outside temp of 14c, at normal operating temperature the temp gauge is showing between 82c and 88c in a mixture of town and open road driving and at idle the pressure gauge shows 1.7bar.At 110mph:eek: it was showing 4.4bar:) Directly after the blast down the motorway and straight to idle the temp gauge peaked at 91c.
Incidentally, the trade guides show that the B should read 4bar at 4000RPM, mine was showing 5bar albeit with a cold engine.
So, very happy with the two gauges, the only slight downside is that these particular gauges are somewhat difficult to read in bright sunlight with the hood down but that is not really a problem for me, I am glad I have fitted them:)

Excellent job SS - looks like a really neat finish both inside and under the bonnet!!

I guess that you are working on the step by step 'how to' for the rest of us ;)

That's another thing on the LRB 'to-do' list...............................

No I wasnt working on the step-by-step guide seeing as it is all here in this thread:confused:
Total cost was a mere £45 plus £17 P&P. You could add another £21 to that because I was the guinea pig and ordered the wrong fitting originally from Hong Kong:mad: But you guys wont make that mishtake now:D
