how can you fail not to notice a salesman isn't there anymore?......they are the ones that come into the parts dept for cheap floor mats/instruction manual and number plates without a job number!

We have 2 Stoneacre's within 1 mile of each other.

1st one is the Seat, Suzuki dealer (worked at that branch for 4 months)

2nd one is the Fiat dealer :D (where i am now) :p

So salesmen move between the two dealers.

p.s - i was moved to the fiat dealer so i could work alongside the bodyshop who were all collegues from my previous job (we all quit at once)

Nice to see you trying to improve your service(y)

Wish i could see the same happening at Stoneacre Fiat in Doncaster. . . When i went, no-one wanted to talk to me, receptionist was moody, parts person vague and unwilling to come check which part i needed (was only a wheel trim, is either one or the other) and it was like this on two occasions.(n)

Won't be going back to that dealer unless im desperate, they haven't put me off Fiats though(y)

once again nice to see you trying to improve your service

Thanks (y)
Well happy customers means more buisness which means more people buy fiats etc..... lol
But there's no excuse not to help a customer, or give bad service.

As you can see my help is actually working because ive had members come into my dealership and use us :)

Hi im new on here.

I work for a Skoda dealer in Lincoln.

I usually post on Briskoda, and i have been told not to post the fact i work in parts for a dealer, as Skoda do visit the forum, and posts are scrutinised by them for slander etc etc! (The story goes that someone who used to post on there was sacked by there employer, under the advice of Skoda, so it was something bad they must have posted...!)

Do your employers mind you posting on here?

Im not knocking what your doing, just wondered thats all!

Anyway that aside, ive just purchased a Seicento as a second car, (daily car is a Fabia Vrs,...!) and my better half works in parts at Stoneacre Scunthorpe, and i would really try them if you have any problems with Doncaster, as i have used them before as a customer we used to sell to whan i works for the Vauxhall dealer in Scunthorpe....There bloody useless!

She and the other members if the team are knowledgable, and have a "right first time" attitude (ive tought her well!).:p

So anyway, hope i havent ruffled any feathers, and good luck on improving your parts dept.

Cheers

Aslong as your no infringing a copyright in anyway or 'slandering' a fellow employee theres no harm done.

I try my best to felp everyone, which gets customers to pop in and order :D

So far ive had people pop in and say hello and ask info and even buy over 400 pounds worth of parts :D (y)

Im being watched on everything i say so i have to word things correctly and no say certen stuff.

To put it simply.

I was told - Fiat phoned my area manager who then phoned my aftersales manager who told me off like i didnt know what i was doing. and told not to use FF.

Sorry. I will post pics again when its 'released'

Dave made a good point on the subject in the 500 section :)
