There is breakers that are specialists in puntos and other fiats on ebay.
so we shouidnt Tar them with same brush,![]()
scrappy for me ,fill yer boots![]()
people dont fill their pockets with stuff in tesco and walk out with out paying, so why do they think its ok to do it in a car breakers.
you carnt get in most scrappys up here, no access to general public,
theres is a few that will let you in if you wear high vis-vest and tin hat,
2nd one this week then
its probably had a 1aw 5af p3 on it
these are a fortune
i would suggest you get a full engine loom too this all goes to the underbonnet fuse box but make sure the loom is abs or non abs as the two dont twain
you really want to consider having the insurance write this off
m2=1 lambda
m3 =2 lambda
Sorry to ask more questions but i just started removing the old wiring loom... do you know what the difference between the P3 and M3 is? i can see the crank sensor and cam sensor on the loom so thinking maybe cam sensor was the addition? Any info appreciated.
Thanks Ziggy. So is that where the P3 version of the ECU comes from, a cam sensor?
No i was saying why you had a cam sensorits emission related, so your ecu was either e3 or p3
As i bet you will find another lambda under the car too

Big thanks to everyone for your help. I replaced the wiring loom this weekend and fitted the new ECU which to my surprise started first time.
Couple of issues are the power steering light is on and no speedo. The steering is heavier than normal but not unpowered. I'm guessing the speed sensor on the diff has something to do with it? Who needs a speedo anyway....
hi
read my post no 7
did you get the right loom?
Yeah I read your post. Yes the loom seems to be the right one as best as I could tell without a part number from the old room. All the right length of wires and right number of wires. Unless the abs sensor (which isn't on my model of car) is located close to the diff on the same connector then I'm stumped :bang:
Tried the connection on sensor but nothing. It stated off intermittent with steering working fine on and off![]()
