Hi everyone,

I’ve been seeing a lot of Panda 312 4x4s with a steel wheel swap, but can’t find any mention of where they sourced the wheels from. Am I right in thinking they’re from a Ducato?

I’d like a set for myself but I wasn’t sure if I’d need to fit wheels spacers for the extra tyre width to stop them scrubbing on anything, unless I can track down a rim that’ll fit the 175/65 R15s Continentals the Panda’s currently running on.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks 👍🏻

I've seen a 4x4 on larger white-painted steels on Youtube, looked pretty smart.... seems they came from a Doblo

Maybe older Doblos, all mine 2010 on, are five hole fixing.
There is a website that gives details of what wheels from different makes have suitable PCD etc. dimensions and the effect on gearing/speedo readings etc. You just put in your original and the ones you want to try.:)
Ducatos are much bigger wheels 15-16 inch and wider five hole spacings.
There is also the offset and centre hole size to take into account, plus the minor ? detail that insurance companies may call it a "modification" if you don't notify them and invalidate any claim you make.:(

They’re not larger: same 15inch as standard wheels on a 4x4…

Many of the more recent ‘special editions’ of the 4x4 (eg the Waze model and the 40th anniversary version) have steel wheels but with a plastic cover to make them look like alloy.

These appear to be the same multi-hole steel wheels as in the video (from a 500 or earlier Punto - the later Punto used a different wheel bolt spacing)

And these, the ones used on the most recent 4x4 versions: (this will open the item but wants you to confirm the fitting…)

Looks like SG Petch sell some 14” steelies for the standard Panda, I’m assuming these would also fit the 4x4? Would have to get a tyre with a slightly larger sidewall though to fill the arches if I did get these.

I’ve come across all sorts of 15” steel wheels for sale on eBay but not sure what the quality will be like having never bought rims from there before.

Sorry - I meant (based on the reply to the question via YouTube in the screenshot in the original post, which says they’re 15 inch wheels) that they are the same size as the standard 4x4 wheel: 15 inch
If still possible to get some of the earlier 20 year old Doblo wheels with the four hole fixing that may be the answer.
I had a set of snow tyres on steel 2005 Doblo 7 seater wheels and when a daughter smashed her alloy Grande Punto rims I fitted those as a temporary measure, though they were never returned.;)
