I'm struggling to find new clips available, if anyone is able to help find a non Fiat equivalent that's suitable? Couple of amazon of generic star shaped 'retainer rings'

According to a breaker the plastic pins on the back of the trim piece are melted over, so looks like the only option is waiting for the one from Italy.

According to a breaker the plastic pins on the back of the trim piece are melted over, so looks like the only option is waiting for the one from Italy.

Strange as the diagram shows perfectly they are held in place with the retaining clips. But who knows, perhaps it's clipped and then melted.

This is my experience with most of the 4x4 rear bumper trim; it just looks like they take a yey-ha soldering iron to the plastic pins and go crazy. Those spring/star washers worked for me (and they're stainless)
