These aint a rare rim so I'll keep my eyes peeled. It's toss up tween MO's or these Smoors. To be honest the Compos are simple bolt on so i'm veering that way. But who knows what ebay de will bring?

cheers

Right, I wrote to Smoor and Merkur and got the same reply...

Hello,

thank you for your email. We have the SMOOR Roadster 7 x 13 available from
stock in PCD 98/4, offset 14 mm. We only send it with spacers 10mm thick, so
it is finally offset 4mm. With higher offset, it doesn´t fit on the inner
edge of the rims. Yes, the Dunlop 175/50R13 is possile on the rim, but you
have to "optimize" a lot off on the front and rear wheel houses.

MERKUR GmbH

P.S. you can get the wheels with or without tires.

I just cannot be arsed to mangle my arches. Do they mean dress them flat. Or get the grinder out? Either way you're looking at grief..

Why dont they make a 6 or 6.5 x 13 rim?

so that's that!

Dumbkopfs!!

I really like the 'dished splitrim' look. In this life you cant have your cake and eat it!!

If I'm going for compos it'll be MO's a la Aaron.. Look super on an Imola in white

Hey.

It's the same on both Sei and Cinq 7x13" ET 14 front and back ET20 can been used on the back.

I dont use spacers on my seicento and it's the same on the cinq

In front it mybee scrub on the stering ball. but after 50m it will stop ;-)

Go for the Dunlup SP2000 175/50-13, SP9000 195/45-13 or fulda carat 175/50-13.

Dont use the continental contisportcontact 175/50-13 or 195/45-13 they are to wide, much wider then the other tyries.

This is my old cinq RIP mounted with 7x13" ET14 175/50-13 Fulda Carat

The things with the brakes are correct, if you are using bigger brakedishs then standart you will need the mount 14" wheel

Yes 140km/h into a digs, and roll over on the roof and back on the wheels.
I got a sore sholder

Danish,

Are you saying these smoors will fit if you use dunlops without cutting the arches? What is the concequence off not running 35mm offset as you state?

I'm hearing/learning different daily!!

help!

Sorry I forgot

On my seicento i have not done anything yet but I have to roll the reararches it's scrubing when there are 4 people in it, it's lowered 70/50

On my old cinq the arches also was rolled, i'm not fund on cutting ;-)

If you are using a lower ET like with a 10mm spacer as merkur wrote, the wheels will go 15mm outside the arches. witch were legal i Germany, but not in Denmark.

im having naught euro thoughts at the moment.

and as i have real man brakes up front :p im lookin into 7x14's

ghost: wat offset were your 7" smoors?

now onto tyres..... doesnt running 175 tyres on a 7" wide wheel mean u run the risk of the tyre popping off due to it bein too narrow?

yea, i noticed those shortly after posting about the 4x100 ones..... awesome price as well, and ive already got the 15mm spacers that would be needed for the backs, just a case of gettin tyres, then some 20mm spacers for the front and they should just about squeeze on :worship:

*goes hunting for credit card applications*
