General Service Plan

Just had the car 3year (29000 miles on the clock) service carried out by Fiat last week.
They have now been in touch offering a service plan covering the next 3 services and MOT’s for £16.90 / month for 31 months. Total £523.9 for the duration of the plan. Along with a one off payment of £25 for £500 pounds worth of cover for parts replacement if it fails an MOT.
Should I go for it??

That's not very different to what I'm paying for a service plan, probably a tad cheaper as it includes 3 MOTs and is only over 31 months. I'd say take it, unless you can find cheaper, but at least it's Fiat

Great price imo. The MOT's alone are north of £160 so it's like 3 services for sub £130 each and then you have that £500 cover.

Nowhere near London I presume? I'd sign up tomorrow.

I believe they'd be inclined to follow prescribed fiat advice though so at least one of those 3 would be a major service.

I had a 500, and did low miles (ave 2k a year), and even with that they suggested minor/ major servicing alternating year on year.

When it was offered to me I asked what type of service these would be.
I was informed that they follow Fiat recommended service schedule. Only time will tell.

If it includes at least one major service I'd say it's well worth it. I paid £377 for a major earlier this year.
