All comments and ideas :) welcomed :D
cheaper to get the right coloured doors from a scrappy with it already in mate lol.

and brake wise all you would need are the bravo callipers and disks/pads. you could 'space' your your callipers to the right length but they wont be a good as the bravo ones. as 240mm disks to 284 is a noticable difference.

hgt rear disks 240mm?? you dont want them the same size as the front so ideally you will want bigger (or better) fronts first. so some 257punto gt or 284 bravo/marea. or some 240 drilled and grooved with some goood pads.

Going to have a Go of making my custom Forge induction kit tomorrow :) gotta drop the girlfriends car off at the garage tomorrow so it can have a wheel bearing fitted. ( i don't have the tools :( )

Anywayyy some pictures tomorrow hopfully :)

Really hard to get hold of them now mate, try ebay...

update :)

Look what I picked up last night :D
its had a good clean up and a nice buff polish and its looking like this atm.
going to give it another polish before fitting :)

Right Unfortionatly I can't fit this lovely shiny rocker :( Because my Engine is a MPI not SPI... Didn't know this when I got the rocker cover so its up for sale!
Offers in a PM please

So since I needed something else to do.. I made a start with....

I've noticed the extra 5hp already ;) lmaoo

looks good... how did u paint it? strip it down and spray? brush paint while it was on?

I took the pads out first, Scrubbed for 20mins with a wire brush then got the dremel took out to get rid of the crap and then used brake cleaner to finish the prep,
you can get brust paint or spray, mine was brush but you can't tell :)

I used a power jet to get most of the gunk off the callipers before hand.. you know what there like soon as they touch water.. its only surface rust anyway

i used brush on stuff and it dryed gd no brush mark (y)

btw looks nice :D

Yeah really good result I agree, Thanks :D

Re: Reuuk nero mk2 punto

okay here it is guys, the conversion from drums to discs has been done,

didn't take as long as expected either! 2 hours to remove fit and bleed the brakes!

some people have said its not worth the conversion but I myself have notice a difference, it brakes allot sharper imo. and really feels better brake hard..

Before Painting and after :)

niiice mate(y)

honestly how is the handbrake is it as good as you said better than drums? i driven a HGT other day and on the slight slope into our garage the car rolled sowly back on handbrake so i dunno im not sure its actually that good mate

Handbrake hardly worked on my drums mate, i've fully adjusted it now and it would easily do handbrakes. don't forget it depends on how much tyre grip, surface etc. not to mention cars lowered so it sticks like glue anyway haha
