Strange. They emailed me straight back, and that was around 8 in the evening
How much are brake pads on these days?
I need some new XE16 fast road pads for my Mk2 Sporting.![]()
they reddot pads? pop in an ask
why using red dot pads and not green stuff?
i think i'm going for the MJ sporting i mentioned in my other thread, very keen to get it remapped ASAP lol!
some places are only quoting a 30bhp so 160bhp yet i've seen on some sigs on here that some members are getting 190bhp+
i thought they were all generic maps that were just loaded on, i DIY remapped my dads car with a map i got off a member on an MG forum and it done 173.4BHP on the RR when i think standard it's 130bhp.
any advice on finding a good one? as mentioned they all have the numbers and sales talk but which ones are actually worth it? if the turbo and clutch don't last quite as long as a smaller gain remap that's a price worth paying to methere's a lad at work with a 1.8 petrol astra that is convinced the MJET sporting even remapped wont touch his 125BHP beast.:bang:
why using red dot pads and not green stuff?
Paying £50 for Green Stuff makes me want to cry.
these used to be cheapest for greens http://www.sqsautofactors.co.uk/ not sure if they still are though
i thought red dot brakes were still made in nottingham by the other bloke after the split
