Hi, I own a 2017 1.4 Tipo (95hp), it has 80k miles with fsh.
Around 9 months ago I had an issue where the coolant level rapidly dropped, there was no overheating as far as I was aware. I had to add a good few litres of coolant to it so it was back at the correct level in the expansion tank.
I took it to my local garage who checked it for leaks and couldn't find any, they advised I just keep an eye on it, it remained relatively stable and I replaced the expansion tank cap just in case. All was good until this week where the same issue happened again, it has been serviced twice ( I do many miles) since the last time (most recently 2 wks ago) nothing was mentioned then regarding coolant issues but when I checked the levels it had dropped considerably and required ~ 1L of coolant adding to it.
Anyone have any idea of the cause?
Water pump was replaced last year
No mayo in the oil
Expansion tank cap replaced
No external leaks
Little exhaust smoke unless it's a cold day.
