I have a 2024 Panda Cross fitted with Continental Contact All-Season tires, 175/65-15 tires. i also have a set of winter tire chains, which are required in my area, when driving through the mountains, which are labeled, 175/70-15. Is there any reason these would not fit or be on my tires?

The difference between 70 and 65 might result in the chains being loose.

You could try fitting one and seeing if it’s ok the straps that tension the chains and how much they can tension them.

There is usually some leeway in the fitment and this is only a small difference

I suspect it will depend on the design of snow chain , as you say 70-65 is not a lot of difference but a good idea to try one first..
By the way here in Torbay the question would be "what is snow?";)

Yes, …”what is snow”..i agree as I am coming from South Florida so this will be a new experience for me as well living in N. Italy. ;)

Last time I was in Italy was 1977 Sking near Valgerola, plenty of snow that would have given people from my way a heart attack and closed all the roads.
On the weekend all the locals came up the mountains with standard cars , no snow chains and when they finally lost traction, mother and all the kids would sit on the bonnet whilst dad carefully drove on up the hill no cares or worries.;)
