Technical Quad exhaust

Good morning

I just essentially have been gifted by a friend, a quad exhaust off his abarth.

I’m considering fitting it to my 595 however upon inspecting it, there appears to be some damage. I’ll be honest and say I know nothing about these exhausts. Is it possible to buy the new rubber hoses? I assume they’re for the valve?

Can I just fit it without the hoses and not take advantage of the valve?

Also, there appears to be a wiring harness which has been cut. Where would this go to?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Weird why somebody butchered those vacuum hoses?!?! Just fit it to your car and don't bother with the hoses. It will sound great!

Just re-looked at the first photo - they wrecked those hanger bushes too!!!! I would recommend you order new ones, or at least check the existing ones, as the bushes on your car might be shot.

So, I fitted this today, and it does indeed sound great. The valve intrigues me though - I’m guessing there is no way to wire open these vacuum / pressure valves?

The car it came off had hit a tree and was written off in a vehicle breakers yard. The guys there don’t care how they remove things. Had I known I’d have taken it off myself but my mate who’s car it was managed to get them to take it off and return it to him without charge.

Breakers yard staff just ripped it off and cut through the pipe too so that was fun trying to remove that section but got there in the end.
