General Punto Selecta Advice !

I want to buy 97-99 Punto Selecta (automatic).Is it a good choice? What should I look for
when looking for car, what advice can you give me, is it good on the road, gearbox stuff etc...

Hi, welcome to the forum. ive got one its great fun does 40 mpg don't get no trouble with the gearbox. they are a cvt but not like the old volvo 340's with the rubber band cvt's. the puntos have an electric clutch and no rubber belts.

bit like driving a turbo... put foot to the floor and not much will happen for a few seconds then you'll get all the power as the ratio changes...

OK,thanks! I,m looking for 3-door version.Are the series all the same, or there
are different levels of equipment etc...

Ive got the 60sx it has power steering electric windows but no sun roof, i think ive seen selecta with a sunroof but i am not sure if it was factory fitted. I may be rong but i think all 97-99 Punto Selecta's were 60sx's
