Next step is the "big service" couse the car is closing 120k km.

@StevenRB45: it was lowered only with eiach springs, dampers are still original... thats one of the reasons ... after fitting bilsteins and strut bars its will be beter, i hope

... does anyone know how to clean oil from engine parts? Its aluminium...

In the UK they call it Gunk its a degreaser fluid you can brush on and rinse off with water.

I've decided to clean and paint the removable cover to mat black, everything around was just cleand and "brushed" as much as possible.

I'll post some pics later!


This weekend there was a big service made on a car, things that were changed:
- water pump
- tensioners 2x
- timing belts 2x
- oil filter
- Brake fluid - Tutela Top 4
- motor oil - Shell Helix Ultra Racing 10w60
- sparks NKG

I also cleaned sport air filter BMC DIA and bouth a new lighter battery FIAM 45ah - before i had bosh silver 68ah, because i had some music in a car...

Sounds good. Good choice on the Oil, It suits those Alfa Romeo derived engines well especially when it's driven hard .

If it uses any oil, change the variator valve that sits above cylinder #1. They are noted on Alfas for dribbling oil into the engine when they open at higher revs.
