I am new here so please be gentle.

The lad now has a punto evo 2010 1.2 petrol and they like it very much.

Please could someone tell me where the guides are for cam belt change and rear door window winder mech repair, as that window will not budge!

Also any access to parts exploded views please would be of great help.

We hope very much that this car is gunna last unlike the ****ron we still have which is dead, or very nearly dead, with engine problems but no trouble codes.

For most things you could probably get by with the grande punto Haynes manual especially as you have the most common 1.2 engine with hasn’t changed hardly at all over the years.

The Forum hosts one - there is a link to it on the blue menu bar near the top of the page - though it dates from 2005 so only covers the Grande Punto.

There's another on the Fiat Dalys website that includes the Evo.

Thanks very much for that will study in depth later, but in the mean time....

The engine, when the crank is "locked" are the piston mid stroke please or at TDC?

Phonic cam belt timing re learn, omg, do i have to take it to a fiat dealer for this??

What problems will occur if this "relearn" is not done please???

And, is the cam sprocket "keyed" to the cam shaft please????

Sprocket.. on a collet

Relearn .. just through OBD port.
MES can do it.

Engine light.MIL at higher engine speeds.

As the 2 timing inputs could well be out of sync..
