I have a fiat punto evo 1.3 multijet 2011 for the last year, the fan turns on several times without the car temperature rising and when I press the gas pedal, white smoke comes out of the exhaust. The oil and coolant levels are normal. Is there a chance it is due to the dpf? I want your opinion.

Others may advise better, but is sounds to me like it is trying to do a REGEN of the DPF.
My advice is to put some DPF cleaner in the fuel tank and go for a decent run of around 30 miles at a reasonable speed without stops whilst keeping engine revs between 2000 and 3000 rpm once engine fully warmed up.
Hopefully this will clean the DPF , the problem is caused by short stop start journeys.
Usually a warning will come up on the instrument panel telling you on most cars.:)
