Many times when I start my engine on the fiat punto evo 1.3 multijet, the red oil light takes a long time to go out and the message of insufficient oil pressure appears. After a few seconds I hear the oil rising and it goes off. The oil level is ok. I changed the oil sensor and still the same. Many times it does it when I'm parked on an incline. When I changed the oil, this problem decreased, but after 7,000 kilometers again

I would like your opinion on what to look for

Thank You

Sounds like the engine is worn. Maybe the oil puck up is partly blocked. I might try a flushing oil for an hour and seeif it helps. Dra8n and throwout after. Maybe change to a lower viscosity oil grade before spending on disassembly

At my previous service I had changed the oil filter and for a while it stopped coming out

First time you see the oil lamp, you do the oil pressure check immediately, within 24 h (to rule out what is it - pump or switch/sensor).
It can be also restricted pickup tube or leaky (gasket/o-ring, it's round or square/rectangle shape on Diesels) = oil pan out.

Isn't it supposed to be 5w-30?

It'll take 10w-30 longer to warm up and become as viscous as the engine wants.

Personally I'd change the oil, but you could leave it, as only minimal extra wear and tear will be caused between now and the next scheduled oil change.

Replaced oil cooler and oil pump and solved my problem..Thanks
