Right, well i've uploaded what i've taken to a gallery in my folder entitled 'Prodrive/Burton Dasset/Gaydon' for anyone interested. I would directly link you to it, but it seems it goes to a custom view page with a zillion photo's on that are not our little event. Maybe ben could fashion us a folder to upload to, perhaps?

Its unfortunate you got a little bit muddled on the meet point gadge. I suppose its an easy mistake to make, atleast you got to see some cars, and Leylands! Well, about 6:15pm (ish) we all decided to pop down to Gaydon and take a photo, just so we 'almost' nearly made it to the same place. Also, if you were at Prodrive how did you not see all out cars parked up in a line?

Hopefully we'll get to go again, i'd go again just to see what projects they are working on behind the scenes again. Fascinating seeing them working on Bruno Senna's GT car for this years LeMan.

Some really nice photos, there (as always...). Particularly like the very small and lonely GP, surrounded by grassy hillside! :D

Sad that there weren't any Mk2 Puntos or classic Pandas, there, though... -- although good to see Palio representing us 'oldies' (the cars, not the owners... -- although, in my case...)!

Looks like you had a brilliant time! You should have called in for a cuppa, though... -- I'm about halfway between Banbury and Gaydon...!

Hello everyone,

I wanted to post my thanks for allowing myself, my wife and my friend from Brize Norton to join you all at Prodrive.
We drove my son there as his Punto had a brake problem so couldn't drive there himself (jwalshy200 is his username).

I repaired his brake caliper bracket for him today (the threads had stripped)

I highly recommend the Prodrive experience, excellent day out :)

Jackie certainly knows her stuff and was very interesting to listen to.

Sorry about being Peugeot owners, but at least my son is a Grande Punto owner....i've spent lots of hours getting the Punto into first class condition (I'm a self employed mechanic).

Thanks again for a great day out (y)

John.

ps, As I'm not allowed to post the link to my photos of the day I'll get my son to post it.

It was a pleasure too meet you all, we don't hold it against you that you own pugs (That's punishment enough :ROFLMAO:) the fact you are petrolheads qualifies you for attendance ;)

It was brought up in conversation how great an area it would have been to have a Sisley attempting the hills! Pity, but a meet there in future would be a great day out in itself!

Great day out & thanks to scout500 for making the arrangements. (y)

Got loads of (probably not very good) photos on the phone. If there's going to be a gallery for this event I'll wait to put them in there - I'm too lazy to do it twice.....

I did consider trying a bit of proper offroading down those steep banks in the 127 but it seemed a bit silly given its age & rarity. If I'd had a Panda of any description I might have daft enough to go down.... ;)

Yeah was a bit of a gaff on my part :D like I said I never even knew Prodrive had their own "heritage" centre! :bang:...... I mean why did they have to name their museum a similar name to one just down the road! Doh!! Never mind. I never actually made it to Prodrive in the end as I was still on the motorway well pass the tour start time so just went home in a huff :D
