Hi there, missed this thread.

I have a similar engine to yours and I am getting the same mayo. Not as much as yours i dont think though. Difference is, mine goes into an oil catch tank after the breather and fills it with mainly water tainted dark brown (oil or burnt oil).

The odd thing with mine is that as far as I can tell, it isnt using any water
Can condensation cause this volume (at a guess, half a pint of this brown water) in maybe 600miles?

i don't mind you adding to this thread as it could help me too. i've just got the compression tester from a mate and i'm going to test it tomorrow and i purchased the parts except the headgasket set as i'm now unemployed.

Is Harrow over west london way? I have a panda bella and I may need some parts,can get someone to drive me over to you .Mine is currently with a mechanic and I am awaiting a verdict on what is wrong with it ,possibly the carburettor but I do need seat covers and upholstery panels as mine are worn .

yea harrows north west london, not far from a40 target roundabout, or polish war memorial. its ideal for parts, or repair (if your feeling ambitious!). im going to put it on gumtree next weekend, or failing that just scrap it. id rather give to someone who needs it tho,

n yea i reckon theres nominal rust on the doors.

thanks to everyone thats helped me on this thread :worship: i should have bella back on the road in the next couple of days and then i'll hopefully be able to get a new job where i can help people out either delivering parts that would've been too far away or if i can get into fiat as a parts person obtain cheaper genuine parts that you can't get from a motor factors.
