General Pic request, petrol tank area

Hi,

Does anyone have any decent pictures of the petrol tank area of a Barchetta?

I intend to cavity wax down there as a preventative measure. My probe camera (cheap ebay one) is not that good, I can see a couple of blue hoses which I assume are fuel lines. I have yet to take off any rear arch liners to see if I can see anything by looking upwards.

Basically I want to make sure there is no rust and wax everything.

Photo I took. The photo with white powder on the tank is where I used talcum powder to check if fuel was leaking from any joints.

Just opened the photos and they are the correct way up when opened. Stranger that they display upside down when not opened!

I have just bought a B after many years of thinking about it and being a forum member, this one is defo a keeper. I intend to sound deaden and cavity wax as much as possible as soon as the rain stops.

It has a leak into the rear hood area, it doesn't seem to leak to the tank area just yet but I want to inspect everything properly.

I'm sure I'll have many more questions, I'm slowly making may way through all the Barchetta threads.

Right, eventful day.

All interior out, rear panel removed, fuel tank now visible. no rust anywhere but a lot of water on the floor and rubber matting is sodden. I am yet to find ANY drain holes, so water is just sitting there.

Chassis now painted and tonneau seal thickened up with some foam rope.
Tomorrow I will cavity wax were I couldn't reach with a paint brush and put everything back together.

Not sure if my leak from the seal is fixed or if its leaking from anywhere else. It looks like my fabric hood needs a retreating so that's on the list.
