I've seen pictures of similar stunts a few times. One was an ad for a Austin Champ, another for a Land Rover (both used the winch on the front) and a few others, even saw one of a Mini Moke hung up under a 1st floor concrete balcony. If memory serves me right, doesn't the same thing happen in "The Gods Must Be Crazy"?

The story is:- Wouldn't it be a laugh to hang the Panda from a tree with the front winch?

So I did.

Problem is that Slindon (off road site in Sussex) has no trees old enough to be big enough to have a branch at the right height away from the trunk so Piglet (the Panda)is not suspended off the ground. Strop round the rear bumper is for pulling the rear out on the way down which proved a little tricky as it wanted to flip onto it's roof.
Nothing leaked except for a little fuel due to the tank being slightly damaged previously and it started OK so next time I need a larger tree and probably a vehicle to pull the back end out on the way down.

There was also a suggestion involving hanging it from a lamp post in town, would anyone get upset? (Police, council, traffic warden...........)
