Hi all Please help as my gearbox is now unserviceable due to snapped bolt in driveshaft housing. Mechanic has now also snapped removal tool in there so deffo knackered it unfortunately. Anybody got a gearbox for a 1990 1000cc fire engine panda about? Can travel to get it as I am desperate for...

Yes great advice but unfortunately the gearbox is knackered due to the stud shear nobody can remove it without damage to the casing hence. Me asking. broken studs can be removed.
You could ask on here if anyone can fix it (not me). It'd cost a pretty penny, but someone will be able to do it and it may be quicker than finding a replacement.
the issue you have is that the panda from that year uses rod style gear linkages.. not the more common cable type used in the more modern stuff.
gearboxes that fit would be from the Uno, Lancia Y10 and pretty much anything "old" with the FIRE engine..
where are you located? theres one on facebook marketplace in manchester. its from a K reg Uno but should fit given its a rod type gearbox.
