2019 fiat ducato 2.3 130hp (twin egr) L4 248k miles on clock.
Morning all,
Just looking for some advice or possible solutions for the issue i have.
My Ducato camper likes to fire on the EML and give the fault code
A little bit of back ground info. My van is a camper conversion weighing around 3T. I have noticed that on the slightest inclines my van struggles pulling above 3rd gear, 4th is completely flat with absolutely no boost. 1st to 3rd feels perfectly normally but change up to 4th and and were no longer pulling at all. I put some of this down to how the van is geared. All of this is without a trailer so adding another 1500kg to the weight online makes climbing hills worse!
I definitely think there is an underlying issue and the turbo fault suggests it too. I've had the egr and dpf removed and mapped out due to a faulty DPF and the van drives spot on apart from this occasional issue.
I'll be taking the van to the lake district next weekend so will see if the reoccures on a long journey when solo and report back.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

My Ducato camper likes to fire on the EML and give the fault code
"P023761 Turbocharger Control Negative drift (High Pressure) Signal Calculation failure"
when travelling long motorway journeys towing my 1500kg trailer. The fault seems to appear after around 80miles. No limp mode and i can carry on as normal. After a few engine starts and a couple of days the fault clears on its own until i embark on another long motorway journey towing the trailer. Short trips don't give me any grief.A little bit of back ground info. My van is a camper conversion weighing around 3T.
