Technical Overheating nightmare puzzle!!!

Good point, thank you I haven't tried it yet. It had the pressure test last week but it was inconclusive. But I've been away with work for a week so now I'll be tackling it again this weekend.

Hi there I just add same proble I change the thermostat first didn't work so then put new water pump on an made belt tight an it's now all good an running like a dream

And here we are re-visiting the topic yet again, I have collected the car back today, I had the head skimmed and a new gasket fitted. The car runs like a dream, the engine is so quiet a couple of times I thought it died on me :D

But the fan still won't come on! The only element I haven't changed yet is the heater matrix. When I start the car in the morning, after a few seconds condensation appears on the inside of the windshield, perhaps because of a leak or block?

When I stand in traffic and the temperature goes over 90C I put the blower on full at maximum temp. but the air coming out is only warm as opposed to hot.

please see post #18 it is easy to do if the fan does not spin address the earth or cable or fuse

if it spins then the switch is dead or the thermostat closed or rad blocked or pump dead
