Regarding wapper's comment about 17inch wheels, France and Spain will not allow for any modifications to a vehicle at the technical / MOT test. including wheels.

That’s a bit unfair, but how would they know they aren’t standard on a 26 year old car?

MoT Failed anyway, but not for the airbag or the wheels

You have there even a 3 pin adaptor (by the look of it) which you can use on older cars.

Hi Mike I'm looking for the ecu download for my fiat coupe 1995
I have the cables but the 2 programs I downloaded dont work with my laptop the program opens but won't respond to the car

The last free version of FiatECUScan was Version 1.6 dated January 2010.

It supported:

Coupes
01 1.8 16V CF3 => Hitachi MPI & TRW MY 97 Airbag
16V Aspirato => TRW MY 97 Airbag
16V Turbo =>TRW MY 97 Airbag
96 1.8 16V =>TRW MY 97 Airbag
96 2.0 20V =>TRW MY 97 Airbag
96 2.0 Turbo 20V =>TRW MY 97 Airbag
98 1.8 16V => Hitachi MPI & TRW MY 97 Airbag
98 2.0 20V =>TRW MY 97 Airbag

So unless you have the Coupe 1.8 with Hitachi MPI (like Barchetta) then you will only be able to connect to the TRW Airbag ECU.

Also the TRW MY 97 ECU can only be connected to with a KKL Interface. An ELM interface will not work/connect.

For Barchetta you can try FES/MES, AlfaOBD and Cascade+ROMS (always with KKL FTDI USB).
