As the title says in relation to trying to order my facia adapter so I can install my new headunit :(

Firstly I bought from an online shop (I won't name and shame). It took 10 days to get here and when it did the facia had been taken out it's original box in order to stuff it into an envelop and when I recieved it the facia was scratched and one of the clips on it's rear was broken. I asked for a refund which I got.

After a refund I thought I'd try on Ebay. Seen a seller (Trade/Shop seller) who was selling the same kit and it was priced £5 cheaper than I had paid for the original kit. Good deal I thought. So I paid for next day delivery and sure enough later that day I recieved a dispatch note saying that the item had been dispatched and to expect delivery the next day and to make sure someone was at home. Well after 3 days nothing. I asked for the tracking number to which the seller said he had lost but if I called City link with my name and postcode they would be able to track the package for me. Well I called and they had no packages due for delivery to my address. Contacted the seller again asking firstly for a refund in postage, a guarentee that the item would be with me the next day and also stated I would look to recover earnings from the two days i took off work to recieve the item. I recieved an email back telling me he would contact City Link and ask them not to deliver the package to me. He was also reporting me to Ebay for threating him with legal action. He then, thankfully, refunded my paypal payment however, with a cheeky message saying ' As you can't wait and are very impatient here's your money back!!' :bang:

Well I've ordered the facia kit for a third time from the same online shop I bought my headunit from. They were great when I bought the headunit and even though the facia kit is £15 more expensive hopefully it'll be third time lucky. I've had an email from the company saying that they will call between 9am and 9:30am tomorrow. The caller will be named Matt and that he will confirm whether the item is in stock or not.

I had the same when I bought my headunit from them and it was fantastic customer service.

Seems I am not supposed to get my new headunit installed :(

Hi there,
I have placed my order about 2 weeks ago before receiving a confirmation last night that the item was shipped... looks like I will be keeping my fingers crossed that the item will reach me in good order!

Cheers

BRAV-OH!

What are your thought on the Bravo. It will come out to Australia this year with the Dualogic gearbox which is what Im waiting for. Can you recommend this car? The reviews are saying its a good car what are your thoughts before I take the plunge.

For me it's a great car. But for you it may not. Your requirements etc may be different from mine.

The best thing to do is take the Bravo for a test drive to see if it is what you wanrt before you buy (y)

best of luck mate hope it comes in one piece this time

Well it came today :D

Arrived as stated and by Next Day delivery (y)

I don't know if I can name the supplier on here but they have been fantastic and would recommend them to anyone.

To put a dampner on the day though the muppet who refunded my original payment by claiming I was being 'impatient and unable to wait' has sent me a payment request via Ebay saying I haven't yet paid for the item

He refunded my payment after he was unable to fullfil his own listings requirements!!

He keeps it up and I am down South near him this weekend. May take a little divert to his companys offices and ask to speak to him face to face. See if he is so brave, cheeky and a general tw*t then ;)

Well I couldn't resist. I went out this afternoon and fitted the headunit :D

Even though it was getting dark that never stopped me. Great thing torches!! ;)

Anyway. After all the strife and trouble it's now in and WOW!!!!!

What a headunit. It'll take me the remainder of the week to set it all up and get all the many, many, many, many features working as I wish. But even just in the default start-up mode the sound quality is so much better than the standard set-up.

Tested out the Sat-Nav and seems good as my previous Tom Tom when it comes to re-routing etc and it's general set up and instruction methods.

Ipod working as expected too. Now just to get the second half of my music collection on to it :(

Anyway Pioneer F900BT :slayer: and DONE!!

Thanks to all you guys who have helped along the way (as usual) :worship:

Here it is with the standard headunit. I can get a photo of it with my new headunit if you wish? You'll need to wait though as it's dark and raining now;)
