General No power from USB port?

Hey all, I wonder if anyone can help, my USB port has been working fine since two days ago when the music stopped playing and hasn't worked since, the orange light has gone out next to the USB port also the windows and main button on the steering wheel no longer work, I have disconnected the battery over night but still no joy, does anyone have any suggestions as to why it doesn't work?. I have just checked the fuse, I can't see that there is one just for the USB port only for the whole music system and that fuse is fine, is there a fuse just for the USB port? It's driving me mad.

The power came back to the USB port for about 3 seconds after I disconnected the battery, and nothing again, could it be the stereo head unit itself?

I spoke too soon, it's cut out again , do you think it's because my USB stick is 16gb? It did sometimes play up but I've never lost power before like It has now.
