Technical newly fitted steering sensor problem

just fitted new steering sensor to my 06 panda and know when starting the wheel spins to full lock to the left, I can drive ok when moving until stopping , it then turns to full lock again! what's wrong , please help

Curious as to why the torque sensor was changed in the first place, it's rare to fail

This is the main symptom of a faulty sensor

when I did mine a few years ago I took out the complete column (incl steeringwheel) and put it on the kitchentable. I then splitted it in two by taking out the clip. T hat way I could very precisely put the new sensor in exactly the right position. This worked perfect and I recalibrated with MES months later.
Having it off and not attached to the frontwheels makes it so much easier to put it on and then take out the safety.
Wheels straight, steering straight easy!
