General New owner needed for my Panda

Sorry about the test- I spent ages with this new forum bit, and then it wiped my post out...argh!!

Anyhow, I'm off to Canada for a year, and I don't think my Panda will survive a year in the back yard here in Merthyr what with the local firebugs. I need the car till the week I leave (Sept 8th), so I'm averse to putting it in the paper or ebay as others will wonder why they can#'t have it immediately.

Here goes:
88 cl1000, white (Bianca), 4 speed, 4 star petrol
55K miles, documented from new, stamped and signed in its warranty book
New exhaust, alternator, thermostat, battery
New HB cable, shoes, suspension mount to keep MOT examiner happy
good tires
mot till March
new filters 2000 miles ago
clean straight, rust on one door
waxoiled

Offers, or do I need to demand a price for this worthy little fellow?

Also (being a Panda forum), what are these 'old' cars really like? Can I expect them to _just work_ ???

wax oil - you can get your chasis wax oiled and it is supposed to preserve the life of the chasis, repelling water ect - it is reccommeded that it gets done every few years but there is a big debate on another forum about it.

My boss had his car waxoiled it was guarenteed for 5 years but because it was incorrectly applied this can cause more damage as the water was getting in and was then trapped resulting in more damage. The company was from the Newbury area.

Just do a web search on auto rustproofing and you´ll get lots of hits!!
