Just a quick post to introduce myself.
Just placed our order for a 500 Twin Air Plus on Friday which should hopefully be delivered to us mid to late September.
I'm sure most of you are already aware of what the standard twin air plus spec is but other than the standard kit we have also spec'd it with black leather, side rubbing strips and midnight indigo blue paint work.
Having heard and read good things about the new twin air engine I was keen to have a test drive of one (which happened to be in a base level Pop model) now considering my last car was a tweaked Fiesta ST I wasn't really expecting much from a 900cc 2 cylinder engine .... but boy was I wrong!!! Granted the route I went on for the test drive was only 5 miles or so but I was very very impressed by it, true it's not going tear up the salt flats but the way it drove and pulled was a pleasant surprise to me. I'm looking forward to us taking delivery of it and seeing how well it beds in and drives in the future.
As well as the 500 I also have a 1991 VW Jetta which is a bit night and day when compared to the 500, seeing as though the Jetta is down so low it's like a naughty puppy dragging it's belly along the floor after getting caught chewing your favorite shoes and the 500 feels like it's up on stilts!!
As well as being an all round car enthusiast I'm also a fully trained Parc Ferme/Zymol detailer, though I no longer do this as a profession I'm always willing to help out those who have questions with regards to various detailing/car care techniques and products.
