Needing some new wheels......

Was going to get me S2 T-Jet alloys refurbished but turns out 2 are buckled, one quite badly so I'm just going to replace them with something else.

Not wanting anything too spendy and definitely do not want anything polished due to the amount of salt on the roads up here.

Looking at Riva DTM, can only find one picture of them on a GP and my car is red. I quite like them, any thoughts or suggestions appreciated please.

Cheers

Ben

Look very nice, like 90,s vw hockenhiems. As an aside, I had my wheels done this year, all where buckled, only 30 quid each to straighten, in the scheme of a refurb and new tyres it’s not much really.

I've been quoted £65 + vat each wheel for strip, repair light kerb marks and powder coat and I'm not expecting to get buckling repaired for less than £40-50 each where I am. Everything is pricey in Aberdeenshire. I'm also not too sure how any straightening may affect the integrity of the wheel. I do like my OE rims so will do a bit of digging regarding repair.
A set of those rims pictured above is only £430 delivered however and I'd not have any worries regarding strength Roads up here are shocking, I'd be concerned about a straightened wheel cracking if it had another bang.

I'm not a fan of massive wheels, i like mine more... expendable and easier to find :))
But those do look nice.. 1 inch smaller (more tire) would be better tho

Bravo oem 16 alloy/steel in winter
they are strong enough... but could be a little lighter.

They are DTMs, think I'll go for them once Xmas is done providing insurance company doesn't throw a fit!
Hi,
If you do find you have any problems with insurance then please feel free to drop me a line.

Hi have done, several times. Every time you have been at least 50% more than the next most expensive quote for any car I have ever owned. Jap imports, standard or modified UK cars.

As above, I didn't change them, I refurbished originals in a different colour for no premium increase and notes on my policy for zero admin fee.

Cheers
