I've bought a new aerial for our 2010 Fiat 500 but the connector is different and doesn't fit. However, I can't seem to find a new aerial base with a connector that's the same as the old one. All the new ones seem to be the same. Can anyone help?

Hmm.. I'm about to swap my aerial too (the antenna threads seized to the base threads, so both parts got wrecked) so I'll be interested to see what the answer is.

I've bought a new genooine parts base but I did see a few pattern ones.

Is yours a Fiat part or an after-market jobbie?

Is the post 2016 car different (if it has DAB etc.)?

Mine is from a well-known auction site - it said it fitted Fiat 500 up to 2012. The later ones have a different white connector I think.
How much was the Fiat part? It looks like I'll probably have to go down that route.

Thanks for that info - it's substantially more than I paid!

I bought a genuine one off ebay, was about £34, has the white connector though

The bit with the green bit on the end in your photo has come out of the old one. You have bought the correct one but part of the old one is still on the end of it.
I have the same problem but really struggling to get the green part out. Any ideas? I've tried a small screwdriver and trying to ease it out. Its so tight in.

I have had that same problem a few weeks ago. I think all Chinese antenaae's have the same (wrong) female connector. I ordered another one from Germany (E-Bay) that had a male plug and it works fine now. I did not want to ruïn the connector in the car.

Thanks. I'm still struggling to find the right part. Do you have details of the part number /maker of the part you found?
