I've trawled through the threads (especially this one) but I'm still unsure about what the differences are between the the most likely part numbers (in bold, assuming my search results are correct?).
2009 500 1.2 lounge aerial base.
So far I've seen:
52019353 (this I think is the mast only 2012>)
51906375 (possibly base for 2016 2017 models?)
52076073 (promising maybe generic, is quoted on ali-xprss along with 51789234 51908657 52076073 for many italian models not just 500)
51908657 (quoted as 500 compatible also for Punto Bravo Stilo etc.)
51723587 (2 lead for Panda, presumably has amplifier? probably not for a pre 2012 500?)
51732347 -ignore this one 3 leads maybe gps, and 500 not mentioned
51789234 an OOS Amazon listing says this is correct for 500 2007-2012 and quotes it as equal to 51908657
Does anyone know the differences for the ones quoted in bold?
I havent got round to removing the original yet so no idea what number (if any) it has because I was hoping to have a (cheap?) replacement to hand before removal as most posts I've read imply that replacement rather than repair cures poor reception problems. I don't want to do the job twice
Also if the original is a one lead coax connection only, it won't have an amplifier circuit board built in (although in theory amplifier power could be supplied through the coax, unlikely) but it seems that the active ones have 2 leads
The post-2012 aerial (with the commonly quoted part number 50540987 ) is more frequently available and for unknown reason is cheaper than pre-2012 base. This has the clamping spider underneath rather than one big nut and a square shaped (but internal round pinned with one different size co-axial connection only as far as I can tell - it has a white plastic connector. Maybe the hole in the roof is a different size to pre 2012, dunno...
