A set of 15" wheels means you still have a reasonable amount of sidewall, and tyres are cheap. See if you can't find yourself a set of Tipo or PuntoGT alloys.

That is totally original even with the correct trims I'd keep it like that ! I had 1 exactly the same way back in 94 its a lovely colour.
.....I was thinking that right down the post, then I saw you were likeminded - an unmolested standard 94 like this? It would be a crime to even remove the wheeltrims. Come and show it off this Saturday!

Hope you don't mind mate but I thought it would give a better comparison to the other guys Tipos if we saw yours a bit better
I'm not trying to encourage you but I had mine lowered by 35mm last month using springs I got from eBay. If you look through my old post entitled '£380 Fiat Tipo 2.0.i.e' you'll see how different it looks.

nice colour! not too keen on the 3 doors though, but my view of them is improving, alloys and lowered 'n it'd look pretty good.
What was the owner thinking eh?
Don't mind the extra weight - I balance it out by eating less pies and having some rusty bits.

All these stunning Tipo's and im going to Brooklands in a shed, cant help but feel a bit down that i havent had longer and had a bit more cash to sort it out properly.
All i can say is theres a lot of guys with tiny todgers in this thread

What status does the racing tipo have with regard to DVLA? Do you have to declare SORN every year, or is it technically scrapped? Don't remember seeing a 'converted to race car' on the V5.

I send the SORn off every year, last time I checked their online thing didnt say it was SORn but I never recieve anything, but that clarifies the DVLA uselessness. If I take the VIN plate off its not going to be easy to ID. Although 'scrapping' it might be easier from an admin point of view.
You've welded re-enforcement over the chassis VIN haven't you? Whole concept of 'a car' is flawed.
thanks for all the comments everyone yeah shame it only came with 3 correct wheel trims lol :/ i just got a set of 15" alfa pepper pots off ebay, they suit the car well i think. is there any way of getting colour coded bumpers or will it have to be a DIY job if i want it done?

Paint doesn't stick very well to Tipo bumpers according to most of the members who have tried to paint them. How's yours doing Rich? Anything special in the prep or paint? Or does just keeping it out of the elements prevent the usual flaking/cracking?
