General My Christmas present

Well over the past few month's in the run up to Christmas I was saving hard for my Christmas Shopping spree. I finally managed to get everything I wanted/needed to get for friends and family this weekend so can now enjoy the run up to the big day without the stress of Christmas Shopping

An added benefit was I managed to complete the list under budget!!

So I thought, the remainder of the budget I'll treat myself with. So my project over the Xmas holiday is buy and install a new headunit and lowering springs.

It's down to two headunits:

A unexpected present or two for myself and my gorgeous Bravo...... Can't wait. And I've booked it in for a full valet and mini-detail session next week at a local valet centre. Should be looking in top condtion for Santa and Rudolph

Local company in the town where I live (Bellshill about 15miles south of Glasgow).

It's a friend I used to go to school with who set up his own business about 5 years ago. Started out just washing cars and progressed from there. Was about 6 months ago that he brought in someone with professional detailing experience.

He told me to leave it with him for a day and for £50 and a few beers down the road in the local he'll do the works. A wee Xmas treat for me

I think with it being Xmas week next week and him only being open for two days before the holidays he's pretty quiet. So i think he's using my car to pass his time lol

i buy alot of my detailing stuff from them and infact is you look at the show and shine section you will see my bravo as i won the October one.... i won 150 quids qorth of detailing stuff

nah Aberdeen is a bit too far for me!

Bellshill on the other hand isnt as far! Although the car would be well dirty by the time I got home!

Yeah that's the problem. Getting somewhere nearby that means a clean car when you get home

Luckily for me my mates place is about 45secs drive so it should be ok to get home again. Though with the salt on the road who knows

Whatever HU you get can you post some pictures of what it looks like on the dash as I'm not sure if I should change mine due to the dash looking pretty nice all standard.

I can do mate but it'll be a few weeks before I get it ordered then installed.

I am sure there is another post on here where someone has installed a Double Din Headunit.

Tell me bout it. Trying to get a decent days weather to get out and give it a good pampering has been hard. I've had to dash out as soon as I see a break in the cloud lol
