Morrisons Job interview

Im guessing you had your interview.

if so how did it go??

Ok i thought. I wont know if i have the job until the end of the week. I could only be available for 5pm til 9pm on wed and 4pm til 9pm on sunday. Still, its £56 a week which is better than just £20 pocket money a week. So now i'll get £76 a week which is fine, once i pass my driving test i will be able to be much more flexible with my hours anyway. Just got to wait for him to ring me back now to tell me if i have the job.
I ended up wearing black shoes and trousers and a black shirt with white lines on it. I dont own a tie and thought it was a bit over the top to wear one.

i still miss pocket money.

jobseekers allowance is a good top up to your pocket money if you cant be arsed to work. all you have to do is pretend to apply for jobs and you get free money, what a crazy country!

Can you iamagine how bad he's going to feel if he doesn't get the job knowing that!!!!!!

yeah but what i meant was that he has a good chance of getting the job. if he doesnt, then either someone better than him has got it, or they decided against hiring someone.
this is the same with any job position, except that morrisons is slightly easier than some.
so hopefully he will have the job :)

Everytime they ask me do i have any questions i never do so i just no everything was covered or something just be polite and listen what they say like they said keep eye contact.

Its not hard i've got every job i've ever been interviewed for :) just too bad i get bored easily after couple months lol.

Its better to ask questions. Shows your interested in the job. Well, especially with bigger jobs, or so I've been told :p

I've seen application forms with long lists of 'previous employment' on them - changing jobs every year doesn't impress in fact, it puts me right off.
Going through the rigmarole of interviewing, getting references, training, additional training etc, only for someone to leave is too much like hard work - and it costs a fortune to advertise, get police checks, provide uniform & training.

Didnt get the job. Really annoyed, i havnt a clue why i seemed to get on with the interviewer. Theres nowhere else to work in my area so i dont know what to do for cash now

There is nowhere local so i literally cant get a job yet. I'm gonna have to dip into my bank account for a while.

With supermarket jobs the important thing is to be very flexible over your hours. Tell them you can work all days and all times, can always change what hours they give you once your foot is through the door(y)

He said they need 6 weeks notice to change hours which means if i got the job i would be expected to work for 6 weeks at times i most likely wont be able to do so that just wont work.
I'll have to try again in 4 weeks when we break up for the summer holidays then my choice of hours will be almost at any time.

sounds like a good idea to me..
dont knock this back straight away...but when i was 16, in the summer hols, me and a mate went round washing cars and mowing lawns. did a good job and ended up doing the same people every week, so had steady work of around 6 cars/ lawns a day.we did alot of peoples cars and lawns at the same time. we made a fortune. and we had fun out in the sun everyday, we worked when we could and if we couldn't we didnt. :)
good times

I dont know what the reason was though. If i wasnt employed because of me and not the hours then reapplying would be pointless.
