Despite all the excellent help I had here suggesting cleaning out duckbills (which were clogged and are now clear), water is still heard (esp after rain) sloshing around somewhere near the front. Is there something else that needs attention? Thanks.

Eh up,

Guydickinson- I’ve read your thread with interest , I’m as intrigued with this as Herts.

Can I just check that both your bills are all clear after your first rinse out?

The 🤬 that collects in these gullies defies belief and if you’ve cleared stuff out, it might not be everything as you will have left some in unless you’ve had the scuttle off. Just check when it’s dry water runs cleanly through the bills again and they’ve not blocked again.

If it does then there’s very few places it can stay under the scuttle, you can take it off and see for yourself, its an easyish job. I can’t see how water is sitting in there and staying enough to hear the sloshing

I’m stumped other than suggesting above, or checking cill drain points are clear ,on the doors too and or taking plugs out of monocoque ( ones near jack points or they are on mine) to see if the water is trapped anywhere else.

Other is water in boot well, but if the sounds definitely in the front I’m at a loss 🤔

Keep us posted and good luck

Thanks very much. Can the cooling system make a bit of a noise anyway? Its main heard on the left front.

Probably sounds stupid, but have checked the doors? My wifes zafira had a sloshing sound, turned out the weep vents at the bottom of rear passenger door had clogged up, gave them a poke with a bit of wire and water poured out. Door must have been full, felt like a good 5 minutes to drain. Suffice it to say, I now check these everytime I wash a car.

Hi Guy
My daughters Panda has exactly the same issue. I’ve removed the scuttle cleaned all drain holes that I can see, it still has the water noise.
Now reading your post I will investigate the cooling system, thank you keep you posted.

I searched for the bleeding cooling system and found it in the bloody radiator.!!!!

Sorry about that,it ain't really punny!!!!!!!!!!!!???????
