Couple of more wee jobs done

There where a couple of exposed bright green boy racer specal speakers stuck in the dash pods that where really past it so out they went and we got some of the 7.99 specials, except I paid 20 quid from Halfords but I'd a voucher so can't complain...

The other thing was that the dash had very few lights working on it and with the colour dash pod was very difficult to read fuel and tempt as they where white or red or yellow back grounds. Put a few bulbs in first but that didn't help due to the printed circut being damaged so I swapped the whole pod for another one. The other thing was that the block of 4 switches (and the headlamp slider) didn't light up so I took it off and found even thou the full wiring was there that the bulb mount was deleted by fiat!!! Like how penny pinching is that!!! So I swapped it for the plain unit and plugged in the wire to light it all up and it glows away!!! Also popped in a clock too as the wireing was all there for it.

So it all went back together again ok and I put in the MP3 lead behind the dash so I pop the phone into the holder beside the drivers speaker pod and it plays the music thou the Panda sterero. Was using FM but it runs the battery down on the phone really badly.

Just changed the gearbox oil and now I'm going to do the engine oil....

That just leaves the door to finish but I need to get that stripped down and sprayed first....

Erm... I kinda like the roofs just as they are thank you!:D

Was really really sick over the weekend, this is my first day up since saturday but I managed to fit my new knob on after getting the old one off the shaft!

Might be a bit posh for a panda but I don't think it's too OTT

Nice knob, Jim.. (Fnarr! Fnarr!)

Oh there's a whole thread in the LL about 'Jims Knob' if you want knob jokes, hehe!

Well, Mojo meet his other english cousin tonight when I nipped round to get a sunroof strap as the rear one on Mojo had one (Juppy had a few spares I'd got when I replaced the roof)

David had used a strap to hold the roof closed which might make it look a bit untidy but even when I popped the new one on I kept the leather strap cause it makes the securing the roof a lot less flaffy
