General making a phone call

ok, associated my mobile with blue and me (piece of pea) but do I have to go through the contacts list by the steering wheel controls to make a call or can I do it by voice command as I find it a little dangerous going through the contacts list manually and taking my eyes off the road.

I would suggest pulling over before making a call, then continue your journey after you have finished. Any phone conversation will take your attention away from the road. Nothing is so important it can't wait till you find somewhere to stop.

Essentially I agree with the above but by current law you can still use the Hands Freefunction by pressing the "Windows" logo on your steering wheel and when the voice on the system asks you what you want tell it "call John" or whoever it is you wish to call, it will then confirm that you wish to call John now? You respond Yes and away you go hands free.

Unless you have mobile and home numbers... then the car will ask "Call John on mobile or at home?"

You can skip this step by pressing the "windows" button then saying "Call John at home" - the car will respond "Call John at home now?" Reply "Yes" and you're away.

i too love this feature, but blue and me doesnt recognise my yes so once she has located the correct contact, you can press phone button (one with handset on) to call

My Blue & Me system calls whoever it feels like. Rarely does it dial the person I want it to. I must need some lessons in articulation
