looks good but i wouldn't wanna go into a fiat garage with that on. can you restore everything back to normal or is it permanent?

Depends on the cost aswell for an extra 5.4bhp and 14ft-lb torque.

You could do what I'm doing and never take it back to a Fiat Garage... My Local Alfa independent will do warranty work and their services don't void the warranty and half the price too!!

Impressive mate! Still dont think its gonna be able to live with the ST174 :p

Why did fiat put u back down 135bhp? Bet that was sh*t! lol.

Im going Dreamscience next mate, for definite, so even if u can stay with me now, ur gonna have it when i get dreamscience  lol.

Catch u later mate, look forwarding to seeing the beast!!

Dreamscience sounds good, Should be knocking out over 180bhp after that??
We'll go the pod again and have it out properly

Yeh should be 180bhp+ and should make it fuel nice and get some big flames  but we will see on that one! de cat so no reason why not with the extra fuel the DS will chuck thru!

Me to mate, gonna get you all lathered up ;)

You promised flames last time ;)
But it smells pretty rich anyway which is a good sign.

I might have flames mate, 95% of the driving i do, noones behind me, so i wouldnt know either way!

It making the right noises to be flaming, but without someone following me, i wouldnt know!

Attached is the RR graph from sunday.

The standard power figures are with the gsr kit fitted and no map, the higher set are mapped with the GSR.

Note that the torque figure in my first post was wrong, it should read 262.3ft lb like on the graph ;)

still don't think i'll spend £199 for an extra 5.7bhp and 7.7ft-lb... doesn't seem worth it :/

Its not all about the performance gains. Plus your car is different mine gained 11bhp over the original map.

Its the noise, smoke elimination, turbo life and torque delivery that are the other points to think about aswell. Performance isn't just about figures.

comparing the graphs they don't really seem that much different. I'm selling my car in a year and if the turbo does go i'll get it fixed under warranty. Don't care really if it smokes or not, tis a diesel in the end. And also if you want noise get a full exhaust system replacement, That'll make some good noise =) Don't wanna argue just don't wanna waste money on induction kit find it excessive.

Excellent figures Kris, you must be pleased with that! I have a little more torque still:p by the looks of it but 12 bhp less. Mmmm, that would make quite a difference I reckon.

Enjoy it(y) I am but at the same time I still can't quite relax and feel comfortable with it reagarding turbo's and clutches. If I feel this way in another 3 months I think I'll revert to standard but at least I will of had a good dose of fun with it:)!!!

Thats your preference its up to you.

Weren't you going to spend a silly amount of money on a dumpvalve that would give no performance difference whatsoever??

Thanks pezz,

I wouldn't worry about turbos and clutches, thats whats warranty is for.

We could have given it more power/torque with the induction without smoking.

It is unlikely that they fix your turbo under warranty if you go this way about it. Not everyone is an idiot in the dealerships.

if your trying to say the red dot remap is gonna break my turbo then why would they remap it? Otherwise my turbo will be fine. And i will get turbo fixed under warranty if it needs doing. Augusto Donetti said my turbo will be fine. Not heard of any problems with turbo's going from red dot remaps.
