Technical Low brake fluid level

Hi I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen on a fiat Ducati van not motorhome!
2.3l professional 2019 plate van
The brake fluid low level light has started coming on recently and the level is fine ,I've noticed it when going up or down hill lately as not happened before.
It's done 185000 already for a 2019 plate so god knows who has it before as I've had it 7 months and been nothing but trouble.
Could this just be a dodgy sensor maybe?

Check the float in reservoir is working correctly , other than that if you have owners handbook does that light get used to warn of other errors like handbrake light or brake pad wear indicator?
