General Looking to buy UK Punto 1.2 8v fire ENGINE

Is the panda 169 an easy swap from the 8v fire engine? Or is there more to it than just swapping it out?

Luckily my is in not that bad condition for age! Some spots of rust on floor panels but nothing major and general corrosion on the suspension parts, but also nothing major! The only reason I’m looking for another engine is I want to do one from scratch! Got my garage done last year, I’m not in rush so can do bit by bit. Then going to fix all the rust from Flor and suspension and going to use that car forever lol

Well I will try to keep car in original setup unless will be difficult to find same engine. There is few on Facebook marketplace and eBay but bit expensive, circa £250 just for engine is way to much in my opinion!

Agreed, found engines for the same price and it just wasn't worth it.

Also your cars paint job is in immaculate condition. No lacquer missing? anywhere?

The funny thing is I save that from going to be shredded, literally bought that from guy on scrap yard for £400 month ago.

Tbh it is in good condition for age! And that’s Fiat so you know when I make a phone call to book an MOT the guy asked what year is that Fiat
when I said it’s from 2003 he asked me if I’m sure I want to come LOL
Never been painted from what I know. And also inside is in immaculate condition! The only part is missing is original stereo, what a shame!

I was thinking about that as well but it’s actually hard to find one! Unless you happy to pay crazy money and buy from cheeky trades lol. And I ain’t going to pay crazy money

this car horsepower is a joke 59PS - you just cruise around the city and small travels, by the way I love this car, but I understand it's age and capability.

It’s ok at least is cheap to run but if I compare doing 70mph on my second car, Toyota verso 1.8 vvt-i to doing same in Punto the feeling in punto is like you drive a spaceship lol it’s loud inside and everything it’s shaking but I really enjoy this small little thing

And the fuel consumption it’s impressive as well
