Hi I want to locate and check out the throttle body on my 2.2 ducato to check for water ingress. Has any one got a photo or diagram of the 2.2 engine bay and the location of the throttle body please.
Many thanks

hi just been looking on ebay for your throttle valve & they have upgraded them all I think & the location is on your inlet manifold here is a photo of a 3L x250 2008 don't know what year yours is if yours is like mine it should have 2 screws to undo & you will see straight away if its water damaged

Beautiful picture Syldale! I don't know about the 2.2, but on a 2.3 you can't see the bloody thing until you have removed a lot of stuff. And then the actuator still is almost invisible because it is mounted under the elbow.
To get it out you must remove 4 screws that also received their share of water and are very reluctant to turn loose. On my engine one head snapped.....

Thanks for your help but mine doesn't look like that so I need to get a 2.2 manual or photo. I had a look yesterday evening and it was getting a bit dark but couldn't seem to find it. I am now time poor and cant really have another look until next week now so hopefully I will have the location by then.
Cheers

Don 't think the 2.2 has one theres just a plastic elbow with the MAP sensor instead.

I think I need a manual. I think my 2.2 is the same as the Transit engine so may go to Halfords and see if the Haynes transit manual has any info in it.
Cheers
