my son has now done 3,000 miles in his tjet and is getting a knocking noise on front it happens over bumps on cold days is worse. i have driven the car and it sound like suspension or ball joints any one else had this?

thanks how long was the car in fiat for ?
8 days!!!!
But the work took a couple of hours. I was just working away from home so dropped it off before I left and picked it up when I came back
But I dropped it off at 8am and whilst driving down South at about mid-day they called to say it was ready to be picked up anytime. Fully valeted as well when I did get it back.

update its been in and they tightened some bolts but they cant find anything so we see what happens next

mine started making a knocking noise the other week, noticable over rough roads, speedhumps etc. The dealer looked at it and spotted a piece of loose trim behind the front bumper/under the engine; fixed in no time and no more knocking. Might be worth a look...

good suggestion will try that as its on bumps its doing it thanks
well filter can be left as its quet new. first service is only really a general check over and oil change etc. the simplest things. handbrake adjusments and the like.

no this is only when you go over road bumps pot holes and stuff, knocking when braking that need to be checked
