Anyone go there/have friends/family there? Any idea on their opinions/experiences? I'm considering it, but actually visiting might be difficult for me.

to study what would be a pertinent question because the experience one has on one course can be very different to another course.
I have known a few people who studied there. its also on my list for my next degree but that will be a couple of years now to save some pennies
