London-Christmas 2015

We're going to London, just before Christmas this year.
We have 2-3 days.
Any (classic) car/bike related shows/fairs etc. going on that week..??
Other suggestions welcome as well.
We're thinking about spending one day in Southend-on-Sea...??
Btw, we're going by car, but leaving it at our already booked hotel in Barking, buying a travelcard, so we don't have to drive in London.

December isn't really the season for car shows, it's generally pretty miserable so the best you'll get is the teenagers on Southend sea front doing burnouts on a Friday night.

A friend of mine who is a designer has been doing some work for the British transport museum with some new exhibits which might be worth a look if you're after motoring stuff.

Looks like a big motor show in regent street at the end of October but nothing later in the year

We'll be going to Southend on wednesday though...
The Heritage Routemaster line 15 in London looks like fun!
And we wil travel the Emirates cablecar etc.
Btw, thanks for the link, I just found out about Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park...!!
