Well lucky for me I do not live in an area that consists of hooligans. You may not like them but you seem to be the only negative comment so far. The dealer seemed to like it and has said they will put a photo of her on their website. To be honest I dont care what peoples opinions are on the lases as I like them and thats all that counts!

It's very strange that some of you guys are getting money off or free extras like xenons cos I'm a sales exc for fiat and under the rules your not meant to get anything off?!? Just out of intrest where about did you buy it from? Plus on a lighter noteI'm also getting my twin air demo in pas-red this week which will be a nice change from the punto gp I'm currently in.

Oh the good old staff discount. I should look in to discount for Fiat Fourm users!!! Good luck with the TAirs and don't ride the clutch is makes the stop/start goes crazy!! :/
yeah I noticed when approaching a red light, if you depress the clutch too soon to prevent stalling when stopped then the stop start doesn't kick in (eg coasting)
just have to get used to depressing the clutch later when slowing down

Mine works fine in this situation, at the point you naturally stop with the clutch in, you just put the car into neutral and declutch, and the engine will stop if you're not moving.
it's only happened to me twice in two weeks so I'm putting it down to me doing something wrong and nothing to do with the car.

Are you sure:
a) The engine was warm (at least 2 blobs on the temp gauge)
b) The wipers aren't on full speed
c) The Heated rear windscreen heater isn't on
d) Climate control isn't seeking too high a temperature change (i.e. much hotter or much colder than the ambient temp)

My SS works fine if coasting to a halt. It actually comes in just before you come to a halt.

Yeah, I think it's around 6mph or so, if you are on a hill and start rolling, the engine will fire up again.
Think you've hit the nail on the head with the climate control temp

Unless the battery is 80% full the stop start doesn't work. My punto has around 6k on the clock and s-s works perfect, roll up to traffic lights out of gear and turns off everytime

I forgot to mention that one too - but yes, mine works perfectly and has done from day one.. Very happy with it.
