Sorry I meant you main light picture below is the small sidelights and then main beam hid kit

I have the main beam hid kit for quite some time now. Almost three years. I have bought it from Ebay but i don't know which is it after all this time.

Halfords led (501) bulbs then a 501 resistor off eBay buddy. I had them in mine too. You need the resistor to cancel out the dashboard warning.
Hi dude, looking at getting some of these myself and was wondering about the legalities of them? It says on the Halfords website that they're not legal for road use.
halfords.com said:
For off road or show use only
These lights must not be visible to other road users
Not legal for use on public highways

Is it the same bulbs for the interior also?

Don't see how they would be illegal as most new cars come with LED DRLs anyway and some even with full LED headlights.

No different bulb for the interior.

I have these in the back of mine as they are smaller than the 39mm I have in the front and everyone else has so fit much much easier and are also brighter. No need for resistor or anything else with these too.

I wonder what's waiting for me tomorrow?! :D

I tried to fit the 501 LED bulbs to both of my number plate lights and both side lights today and it failed with the dash warning for both.

I expected I'd need the resistor cable for the sidelights but wasn't expecting that to be true of the number plate lights. Can anyone shed some light (sorry!) on this for me?

However. I do have my interior lights sorted. I get the same flicker that you guys have mentioned but I kinda like it. Looking forward to viewing them in the dark. Unfortunately, Halfords only had one set in store so awaiting more bulbs to do the rear interior lights.

I intend to do the light in the boot and the glovebox compartment too. Are these the same bulbs as the main interior lights?

'E' marking and type approval. OEM LED units will be 'E' marked and type approved accordingly. Most retro fitted LED bulbs will not, and as such don't technically comply with vehicle lighting regs, and as such the road traffic act and as such are illegal by default ;)

But you should be ok if not drawing too much attention to yourself.

It's ok, my next car which I'm collecting on Sunday has LED DRLs, LED tail lights, LED position lights and even LED headlights as OEM equipment

Japan? Why?

Cheap motoring, far better residuals, and much higher specification along side far better reliability.

2nd major gearbox issue on my Bravo. Only 94k on the clock (nothing for a modern car, let alone a diesel) and its not even 6 years old yet (n) I can't be doing with it when doing upward of 20k a year in a car.

The Toyota 5 year 100k warrenty speak wonders (along with the fact parents have a 2001 petrol Yaris owned from new with 185k on the clock, no issues, only wear and tear components changed and still it's origional clutch!). I also fancied an electric car, am an old git at heart who likes to get very high MPG and I like my in car toys :)

As much as I've always liked Fiat, it's all I've ever had, the expensive issues with the Bravo, and their diabolical attitude both at dealer and HQ level has caused me to jump ship. Still got our classic Panda's, but it'll be a very long time, if ever, until I'm back in a modern Fiat. They've a bloody long way to go and some major hoops to jum through until they're up with a lot of other manufactures, and if they're not careful they're going to get left behind IMO.
